Wynn Al Marjan Island, home of the Ras Al Khaimah casino, remained closed to the public on 10 August 2026. Wynn's latest published schedule puts the resort's guest opening in September 2027.
Use the dated references below to distinguish work already completed from plans still ahead. Wynn may revise operating information or timing, so check the cited official source for the latest position.
| Subject | Latest reported position | Source date |
|---|---|---|
| Resort status | Construction continues; visitors are not admitted | 10 August 2026 |
| Opening date | September 2027 | Wynn results dated 4 August 2026 |
| Licence | GCGRA register names Island 3 AMI FZ-LLC, trading as Wynn Al Marjan | Current GCGRA register |
| Tower | 70 storeys; planned top elevation is 352 metres above sea level | Current resort website |
| Accommodation inventory | Structural work complete on each of the 1,530 units | 2 February 2026 |
| Gaming area | 225,000 sq ft, equivalent to about 20,900 sqm | Wynn annual filing for 2025, March 2026 |
Construction activity does not make the hotel, dining venues or gaming floor available to book or visit. Wynn currently collects email sign-ups for updates; submitting one buys neither a reservation nor entry.
This is Wynn's first integrated resort in the Middle East and North Africa; its developers call it the UAE's first as well. The planned destination brings together lodging, a licensed gaming venue, restaurants, shows, shops, a spa, beachfront, marina and event space.
Facing the Arabian Gulf, the development spans more than 60 hectares on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah. It is a joint venture with entities linked to Wynn Resorts, Marjan and RAK Hospitality Holding. The GCGRA licence register identifies Island 3 AMI FZ-LLC as the facility entity.
The plans extend well beyond casino space. So far, public announcements give more detail on rooms, food, the beach, events and entertainment; Wynn has not yet set out the games that will be offered.
Wynn's second quarter results, issued on 4 August 2026, name September 2027 as the month guests should be able to arrive. This replaces older references that gave no month or pointed to the first quarter or spring of 2027.
Earlier investor material aimed for the first quarter of 2027. In May 2026 Wynn disclosed a modest delay but did not yet quantify it; the August report then set out the revised September 2027 guidance.
An investor update from Wynn carries more weight than a hotel directory or travel blog, yet the date remains a projection while fit-out continues. Before paying for a non-refundable journey, revisit the resort's official site and the company's investor notices.
Read the dated events in order to see how the project advanced and which schedule is current. The sequence follows the Ras Al Khaimah casino from its initial proposal through licensing and construction to Wynn's latest month for opening.

Wynn's project story places the 70-floor ceremony on 25 November 2025, whereas later company reporting dates structural concrete completion to December 2025. These entries retain each source's distinct event rather than treating the dates as a single milestone.
In a 2 February 2026 update, Wynn reported structural concrete finished through the roof of level 71. Crews had installed 21,852 of 26,471 facade panels, an 83% completion rate. The guest site calls the building a 70-floor tower; both descriptions are kept as published, without calculating a floor count between them. Interim height figures have varied across Wynn releases; the consistent final target is 352 metres above sea level once the spire is fitted.
Installation of lifts and escalators was advancing, alongside mechanical, electrical and finishing work in guest areas. Concrete and structural steel combined reached 99% for the low-rise buildings. That percentage describes construction progress, not readiness for occupancy.
Wynn Bridge is planned as a 548-metre connection from the resort via Wynn Boulevard to E311 and E611. On 2 February 2026, progress stood at 48%; piling was done and nine of the ten bridge column pile caps were in place. Wynn's target at the time was to finish in late 2026.
Wynn described construction as moving rapidly in its August results, while its second-quarter presentation showed broad interior work underway on 15 July 2026. Neither gave a revised facade or bridge percentage. The February figures therefore remain attached to that date rather than being extrapolated.
Wynn's March 2026 filing of its 2025 annual report lists 225,000 sq ft for the gaming area. In metric units that is approximately 20,900 sqm, the more recent figure used in this guide.
Earlier news and property coverage, still visible in search results, often quotes around 18,500 sqm. Wynn has not explained whether the two measurements cover different areas. We retain the older number as an earlier estimate and do not combine it with the filing figure.
| Dimension | Published amount | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Gaming area | 225,000 sq ft, approximately 20,900 sqm | Most recent figure in the annual filing |
| Earlier online estimate | Approximately 18,500 sqm | Older reporting, not the current headline measurement |
| Overall site | Above 60 hectares | Entire resort development, beyond gaming space |
| Hotel tower | 70 floors | Description on the current guest website |
| February structure height | 299 metres to the roof of level 71 | Interim build measurement |
| Target height including spire | 352 metres above sea level | Completed design height on resort site |
A square-foot figure says nothing about table or slot counts, game selection, or how space will be split between public and private rooms. Wynn had not released that inventory by 10 August 2026; wait for a direct operator notice before relying on specifics.
Wynn reported in February that structural work was complete across its 1,530 places to stay, while interior finishing continued. The figures below include the apartments, townhomes and estates within the overall count.
| Category | Number | Published description |
|---|---|---|
| Resort rooms | 1,217 | Rooms and suites within the main Resort Tower |
| Enclave suites | 297 | Upper-level hotel-within-a-hotel suites |
| Royal Apartments | 2 | Top-of-tower apartments |
| Garden Townhomes | 4 | Separate homes set in the resort gardens |
| Marina Estates | 10 | Homes next to the marina |
| Total | 1,530 | Latest total of announced guest units |
Enclave is the upper-floor hotel-within-a-hotel, with a dedicated entrance, arrival space and elevators. Its offer centres on suites and a separate service setting. Wynn has not yet disclosed its rates, packages or date for opening reservations.
Some older Wynn announcements gave 1,542 rooms, a number still copied on competing sites. Current resort material and the detailed February 2026 construction update break out categories totalling 1,530, which is the count used here.
Wynn's current site describes 22 restaurants, bars and lounges, alongside a beach club operating by day, for resort guests and visitors. Announced names include Alain Ducasse's French-American steakhouse and another Delilah supper club. Restaurant reservations were still unavailable at this update.
Wynn revealed on 29 June 2026 that an original Punchdrunk production would launch with the resort. The planned experience offers a conventional upstairs seat or an immersive route through downstairs and backstage areas. Wynn has not set ticket prices or performance dates.
A daylight-filled parterre is planned for luxury retail, though a complete tenant directory is not available. Art is intended for guest rooms and shared areas. Publicised works include Jeff Koons' 11-metre Tulips, alongside historical and modern pieces by regional and international artists.
The resort plan includes a 420-metre stretch of private white sand and a deep-water marina intended for large yachts. A beach club is slated for daytime use. Wynn has yet to explain day-pass availability or access for people who are not hotel guests.
The resort lists 12 pools, cabanas and planted outdoor spaces, as well as a five-star spa, salon and fitness centre. Prices for treatments, hours of operation and pool entry terms are not available, leaving those costs out of any dependable visit estimate.
A kids' club appears in the official amenities alongside outdoor activities, indicating family facilities beyond the gaming areas. Age limits, charges and supervision details are still pending. Families should check the guest rules before arranging childcare.
Coral Court serves as the resort venue for celebrations and events, with a stated footprint of 7,708 sqm. Plans include six flexible meeting rooms, separate salons for brides and grooms, plus private prayer rooms for women and men.
At 2,633 sqm, the Grand Ballroom is column-free and looks out over the marina. Its floor area is useful for venue comparisons, but headcount depends on the layout, including tables, stage, aisles and technical setup.
No package options, rates or minimum spend had been published by 10 August 2026. When enquiries open, ask for a written capacity layout and pricing that covers catering, production, access and cancellation, rather than deriving guest numbers from the room size.
Wynn Al Marjan sits on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah rather than Dubai. The resort website puts Ras Al Khaimah International Airport about 15 minutes away by road. A Wynn financing announcement in 2025 estimated approximately 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport.
| Route | Published estimate or status | Practical step |
|---|---|---|
| Ras Al Khaimah International Airport | Resort site estimates a 15-minute car journey | Check conditions on the day, as traffic can alter the trip |
| Dubai International Airport | Wynn's 2025 notice says about 50 minutes; resort is under 50 miles away | Build in time for traffic and baggage beyond the estimate |
| Wynn Bridge | Proposed connection via Wynn Boulevard to E311 and E611 | Late 2026 was the target; verify the bridge is operating |
| Shuttle service | Service hours and fares not announced | Wait for an operator notice before relying on transport |
| Car park and valet | Operational information remains outstanding | Review arrival guidance once reservations become available |
The planned 548-metre Wynn Bridge should provide a more direct road link to the resort. The latest detailed construction notice still treated it as unfinished. Wait for Wynn to confirm completion or check a current route map before assuming it is open.
Once bookings are available, verify your drop-off location: the hotel, event venue and marina could have separate entrances. Leave extra time and pay for a transfer only when it is documented in your reservation.
On the GCGRA register of licensees, Island 3 AMI FZ-LLC appears under land-based gaming facilities and trades as Wynn Al Marjan. Wynn announced on 4 October 2024 that this project company had secured the UAE's first commercial gaming facility operator licence.
The listing verifies a GCGRA licence for this named land-based venue. The same register puts The Game LLC in a separate category as the UAE Lottery operator. When open, Wynn Al Marjan is expected to be the Gulf Cooperation Council's first licensed casino. Our overview of UAE gambling laws has more on the wider regulatory setting.
Wynn still needs to publish the gaming floor's final age and ID checks, entry conditions, responsible gaming measures and complaint process. Do not assume another Wynn venue's entry policy applies here while local terms remain unpublished.
Plans can change as opening approaches. Knowing what has not been confirmed is as important as noting published figures. This checklist helps distinguish a mailing-list form, promotional image or outside offer from an actual reservation or promise.
| Topic | Position as of 10 August 2026 | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Room reservations and rates | No booking launch or prices announced | Follow Wynn updates until its booking system opens |
| Dining bookings | Wynn's restaurant page not taking reservations | Avoid paying an unverified third party |
| Casino games | No table, machine or game-title inventory issued | Use the operator's published gaming guide |
| Stake limits | Minimums and maximums remain unknown | Do not borrow limits from Wynn Las Vegas |
| Entry age, ID and fees | Wynn's final policy has not been released | Review Wynn and GCGRA terms before departure |
| Attire and hours | No details issued | Look for the guest handbook when published |
| Transport, car park and valet | Hours and charges are unannounced | Get details alongside a confirmed hotel booking |
| Theatre admission | Interest sign-up available; dates and prices outstanding | Registration alone does not grant entry |
Visitors can leave an email address and choose subjects for Wynn news. This does not hold a room, table or theatre seat, nor secure a rate or priority unless Wynn issues a separate confirmation.
Consult the resort's own site, confirm the facility company on the GCGRA list and compare timing with Wynn's newest investor report. When none of these sources supplies a detail, keep it marked as unknown instead of applying rules from a different property.
This guide and its gaming material are intended for adults 18 and older. GCGRA advertising standards treat anyone under 21 as underage for commercial gaming, except lottery. Wynn had not published its gaming-area ID and admission rules as of this update. Verify them before travelling; a hotel booking may not allow access to every resort space.
For illustration only, imagine setting aside 800 United Arab Emirates dirhams (AED) for a future day out. Reserve AED 500 for transport, meals and unexpected costs, and cap gaming at AED 300, whether you win or lose. These figures are not Wynn prices.
Choose a spending ceiling and a leaving time before approaching the gaming area, and keep other cards or funds out of reach. If either boundary arrives, end the session rather than risking contingency money or chasing losses.
Pause if gaming brings secrecy about spending, debt, distress, or problems at work or with people close to you. The responsible gambling resource covers warning signs, ways to stop and available help.
These responses reflect official material available on 10 August 2026. Recheck schedules and admission conditions when bookings become available, since operating arrangements may be revised.
No. Building work is ongoing. In its 4 August 2026 update, Wynn said guests are expected to arrive when the resort opens in September 2027.
September 2027 is Wynn's latest stated target. The company gave that month in results published 4 August 2026, replacing earlier first quarter and spring 2027 indications.
Wynn Al Marjan is being built on Al Marjan Island, Ras Al Khaimah emirate. It is not in Dubai; the resort estimates a roughly 15-minute drive from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport.
Wynn's 2025 annual filing gives the gaming area as 225,000 sq ft, or around 20,900 sqm. Earlier project reports cited roughly 18,500 sqm; this guide follows the more recent company figure.
The announced accommodation count is 1,530: 1,217 Resort rooms, 297 Enclave suites, two Royal Apartments, four Garden Townhomes and 10 Marina Estates.
GCGRA, the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority, licensed Island 3 AMI FZ-LLC, which trades as Wynn Al Marjan. On 4 October 2024 Wynn said it received the UAE's first commercial gaming facility operator licence.
As of 10 August 2026, Wynn had not given a hotel booking launch date, and restaurant reservations were unavailable on its dining page. An email registration does not secure a rate, booking or priority.
By 10 August 2026, Wynn had not released table game options, slot totals or stake limits. Check the operator's own gaming details and admission conditions when they are published.
Wynn estimates around 15 minutes by car from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport and previously put Dubai International Airport at about 50 minutes away. Traffic affects both journeys, and the February 2026 update still called Wynn Bridge a work in progress.
For commercial gaming other than lottery, GCGRA advertising standards classify people below 21 as underage. Wynn had yet to release its final gaming-floor admission and ID requirements as of 10 August 2026; check the operator and GCGRA before travelling.
